It seems that my IE viewing problems may have taken place on my side of the aisle.

I just rechecked your site through IE, which I'm using right now, and all is fine. (sorry for the false alarm)

Thanks, XP, Yup, I was referring to the war in Iraq (and I wasn't being critical of you, just being curious).

While I appreciate Edwards' retrospective change of heart and apologies, it still pisses me off to no end that Feingold and Kucinich were able to read the fine print, while others claim to have been duped. (It also makes me miss Paul Wellstone, who made damn sure to read every effing word of legislation before placing his signature on it.

By the way, thought you should know, your site is going totally haywire and is unreadable through IE (with comments and side bars and margins all colliding and over riding each other). Guess I'll use this opportunity to change my default browser to Mozilla, but I wanted you to know that IE users will not be able to participate right now.

Thanks again, and all my best,

anomalous - I am happy you asked, somebody has to keep me honest. One thing I do dislike most is hypocrisy and if I said something before that is totally different it is good to know. I will address it. So far the biggest mistake in my mind is that he was one of the Senators who voted to send us to war. Are you talking about that one?

I wouldn't say he has a free pass, he is on parole. Reason for being on parole
1. between he and Kerry, he was the only one who cared about challenging the election because of voter fraud. None of the Democrats acknowledge voter fraud takes place.
2. He has taken full responsibility for sending us to war and he has said it <a href="http://wampum.wabanaki.net/vault/2005/11/002043.html" rel="nofollow">publicly</a>, even though it hardly made the news. Doing something like that was very big of him and is rarely seen. Hillary has only said we would not have been at war if she was President, in my mind, that is not the same, only avoiding her from saying she was wrong and takes responsibility for it. President Clinton, still acknowledges that one of his biggest accomplishment as President was his welfare reform. For that, I will never forgive him, I will never forgive for turning to the dark side in his second term.
3. He is the only one of the <b>front runners</b> with a detailed universal health-care plan. When Clinton ran the first time around, Hillary was the biggest cheerleader for universal health care. After Clinton was elected to his second term, they both went to the dark side.

Why he does not have a full pass -
Edwards refuses to address the immigration issue. By not addressing the immigration issue, he is implying Latinos citizen and non-citizen are not seen as being part of Edwards One America. As time passes, his stock continues to decline rapidly. I know he has people monitoring blogs through out so they better give him that message quick.

There is one thing we all have to realize in America, we live in a society that is already predetermined. Unless people are willing to partake in a radical mass movement to challenge the political structure that is in place, other than that, everything is predetermined. These are the people who are running Sen. Joe Biden, <s>Gen. Wesley Clark (Ret.)</s>, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, <s>Sen. Chris Dodd</s>, Sen. John Edwards, <s>Sen. Mike Gravel</s>, <s>Rep. Dennis Kucinich</s>, Sen. Barack Obama, <s>Gov. Bill Richardson</s>, and <s>Gov. Tom Vilsack</s>. Sadly, the ones who are not striked are the chosen and have been the chosen, Biden would have been, but the anti-antiracist foes are bound to piss us off to make their point. If we lived in a fair and just society, my top choices would be Dennis Kucinich and Sen Mike Gravel. So, I have to work with what I have got. And that is Edwards. He makes a good candidate because he can start breaking the classless myth, which is much need if we are to move forward. However, just because I support him does not me I will never criticize the guy. That is the problem with many political bloggers, they get into fandoom, the guy can do no wrong. IMO, people will never learn if people are only yes people, there needs to be a no once in a while and the reason why we disagree.

Professor Zero - I agree with you and that is the problem I am having right now and I am really disappointed with him. I am really happy he told those christofascists to stick it. But it really bothers me that he had an itchy trigger finger and fired them and rehired them. Which is why I wrote the serious of questions for him to think about. He should have known and he should have said something along the lines of what you said, hey their blog is their blog period. His tone was not only patronizing but very paternalistic. It seems he is one of those who really continue to think bloggers are you early 20s type, which is strange since he had a blog and a podcast before he entered.

Morning, XP,

um...stammering/stuttering/hemming and hawing...not to be a trouble maker or anything...but wasn't Edwards one of those awful representatives you spoke of in your recent essay? Ya know, one of the ones who made the biggest mistake of this century? I'm genuinely interested to know why you're giving Edwards a free pass on that decision (unless I've missed your explanation in a previous writing).

Good day!

Couldn't Edwards have said, though, that their blogs were their blogs, and they'd work differently for him? I mean, now that they work for him, their blogging style has to change ...?

I don't know. There are things I don't do with my blog because
of work. But he took such a scolding tone, who is he, their daddy? I guess he is their patron...

I was hoping to see how many I could get, I found out it was easier to not think about than force it in. I admit it was fun...jejeje

Yeah, I think it was way too long to respond. He couldn't have been clueless not knowing who he had hired. The whole, your fired your hired is not good either. Kind of shows indecision.
