my ex-boyfriend made me a mix tape for my birthday and this was the first song on it. i was surprised because he didn’t seem very interested in race politics. I think i’m in love with youtube. damn, i’m gonna miss the internet in NOLA. i don’t know what my net connection is going to be like out there but it will probably be sporatic.
this is a great song. i really, really hope they get back together.

I feel for ya, the internet as really come a long way and I can imagine that the first few days will be hard. How long are ya going to be in NOLA again, before you start traveling the world?
I think if we keep spreading the rumor, they will come back. Think of it like a concert, every band loves to do an encore, however, they just love to hear the roar of the crowd before they come back out. Maybe that is what they are hoping for, the roar of the crowd. The only thing, we just have to be a little louder.
i don’t know how long i’m going to be in NOLA. a month? two? I’m in Nola now but I don’t feel like posting. you should e-mail me if you end up around for marti gras.
Luisa, i hope you have a great time in NOLA–you gotta make a lot of great posts when you get back–
