I am back and I want to say I’ve missed everyone and I would like to welcome all newcomers … Bienvendidos a todos to my humble abode.

Sorry for disappearing for the past two weeks and not replying or getting back to everybody, I had to spend time with my little sister because she is no longer mi hermanita that I remember growing up with, she is all grown up now. This weekend, I was definitely delighted to see my little sister marry the love of her life. I wish the two of them all the happiness in the world!

There are some house cleaning issues I want to address first. During the time I was away and looking for some alone time during the final stretch, some of you will notice I made some cosmetic changes on my blog. I added a little here and there; took out a little there, this was slightly inspired by Nez who also made some changes to his blog for his readers’ reading pleasures.

Screenshot I realize those who are using IE never and still are unable to see the true design of this blog. I realize those who are using IE never had the opportunity to see the design of this this blog and were viewing a white or yellowish background with black text. Ever since I realized some people were not able to see the original version to this theme, have been trying to hunt down the cause for the disappearing background. I have come to the conclusion that this is a Microsoft vs Firefox problem. I have spent hours between posts searching for a solution, I first thought it had to do with screen resolution, however, that was not the case either because I too am not able to see the background on IE on my computer or my parents newer computer. I do have agree with Nez, people on the net are not very helpful, many of them assume the reader has the same knowledge level as they do so they level out some many steps that it is hard to follow. The solutions I did find are either a) many of the any hacks being used are very outdated; or b) they are very complicated to figure out. Unfortunately, I still have not figured out the cause for this, what I have opted to do, I added some color to the background and add thicker boarders to separate each section. There is no reason why people should suffer from seeing nothing while some are able to see the rich colors of this blog.

I also have updated my comment section, which includes moderation, because I have suddenly have been getting a large number of spam that have somehow gotten past the spam catcher. I also have changed my spam catcher because has been acting a bit over zealous and has been refusing access to some people for apparent no reason. I hope that this will take care of things, if not, feel free to contact me, now that I put a new contact link.

That being said, lets get back to blogging! Too many things are happening around us.

hey amigo welcome back! ooooh live preview n shit. you wordpress foolios are lucky you all have so many plugins to choose from.

but you may wanna trim the width of your comment input form because it hides behind the column derecha when you squeeze the page narrower. this hides the typing from me unless i open the window wider. plus, at that width, it’s actually reallly too wide a line to be typing. i think i would personally go with 75% as wide, but 50% deeper/taller, you know? just my thoughts.

looking good over here, tho! blog gets tighter and tighter. Mex gotta represent, and you know we got style, baby. and this:

There is no reason why people should suffer from seeing nothing while some are able to see the rich colors of this blog.

cracked me the hell up. “the rich colors of this blog.” you are one funny vato.

    welcome back, cabrón.

or maybe just 25% or so taller. i think it would be fine just making it narrower and leaving it…until you get a super long comment, that’s when you want to see more words in front of you. but this shit is so wide i feel like i’m wading out on a sandbar and any moment i’m gonna get swept out to sea. why you wanna put Nez out to sea? don’t be mad.

also i just wanted to say specifically that all the jazzups you’ve done really do add a lot. i love them. the drop cap at the start of the post, the little icons for tags (i think i’m going to use this to expand my habanero/jalapeño theme, too), the calender pages. very stylish, carnál!

Oooh! Previews! I like; I like! And welcome back; I’m glad to see you in action again. Ooh, this preview thing is nifty… *types and backspaces over and over*

And I noticed a long time ago that when Firefox is giving me stress, I can’t use IE here. IE seems to treat your formatting like poison. But that little setback still won’t stop me from reading here! ;)

    Thanks JustMe.

    Nez -
Thanks ‘mano. Thanks for the input. I sort of have been stuck with the whole comment section. I did what you justed, hope it is working out ok. I know there are CSS issues regarding browsers among Mac users. Since I am not one of them young-n-hip Mac dudes like that commercial, I am interested in knowing what exactly are you seeing. I know if I reduce my browser, part of the comment field hides under the my blogroll.

There are some little things that still need to be done, but the all the major changes are done. This little baby got a major overhaul, it went from a Pinto into a new low rider, ese. I made major changes to the code, in fact, it is nowhere close to the original. While I was doing that, I decided to pimp up the outside too.

Thank you!!! I am so close to figuring out what is up with this whole IE thing. But as long as the the columns are where there suppose to be and you are able to read it, hey, I can live with it. :)
