Well, it looks like a deal has been made for unComprehensive Immigration Bill. And from today’s Democracy NOW! (h/t MCat), the bill includes hiring of 18,000 more Border agents, all undocumented immigrants will be forced to pay a $5,000 fine to continue to stay in the US, and tall immigrants will be required to get a biometric identification card. And let’s not forget there will be over 300 miles of fence to be built. I will write my thoughts this weekend.
Just a small reminder - they can’t deport us all.

YESS!!!! I love this video. I saw Chingo Bling in concert in ATL with some other members of my student org. and he gave us all a bunch of those posters that say “THEY CAN’T DEPORT US ALL” on one side and “NO NOS PUEDEN DEPORTAR A TODOS” on the other. We posted them all over the place!
I am jealous. How was the concert. I missed him when he came here in Houston. I have make sure I keep up with his tour.

Powerful video. I love that poster. I should put it where my wingnut neighbor can see it…
Chingo was awesome in concert. He had sooo much energy! And he also gave me the mic a couple times because I knew all the words jaja. He is a really nice guy too. After the concert, he actually took time to talk to me and some of my friends about our student organization, and told us about whenever he was in college at Trinity University. I kissed him!! (on the cheek) jejeje
