The Mexican government shares a big part of the blame of the U.S. immigration problem. It’s time to confront the Mexican government on fixing its social problems. The widespread corruption and whitening culture are taking this country to the verge of collapse. The whitest citizens are on the top and the rest are being ignored. In Mexico the darker your skin the more likelihood you will live in poverty for the rest of your life. The Afro-Mexicans are vilified as the demons of the society.

XTC - What I love about your response, it is a perfect example how arrogant, condescending, self-serving, and self-righteous most Americans when it comes to immigration. It also proves how gullible Americans are in believing everything that comes out from corporate media. That being said, XTC, I applaud you. This issue has already been addressed here in a comment and on his site by a friend of my, Richard Grabman. He has written about his own experiences as an "Illegal alien" in Mexico, which he states that little happens. As for you point of what if Americans invade Mexico, well that is already happening. Expat and former journalist Douglas Bower has reported how American young adults and retirees are flocking to Mexico to take advantage of the lower cost of living. In fact, in 2005, there were 1,000,000 US citizens living in Mexico. In fact, are they learning Spanish? Not a chance! Why should American gringos learn that silly language anyway, we are Cultural Imperialist following a social Darwining law, survival of the fittest. The truth is American gringos flooding into Mexico to create little Gringolandias all throughout Mexico; we are not talking about the resort town either. And once they are there, it is English all the way. Thanks for playing, have a nice day.

Let’s imagine for a moment if the reverse were true. Let’s say that 30 million gringos were illegally invading Mexico, marching in the streets and waving american flags and demanding that they had a right to be there????? Imagine if these gringos were clogging mexican emergency rooms and the mexican taxpayer had to pay for it??? Imagine if gringos had numerous kids and clogged the mexican school system shortchanging the education of mexican children because much of the tax money was going to pay for spanish as a second language classes??? Imagine if gringos were taking jobs from mexicans and driving down the wages???? Imagine if large amounts of tax dollars had to be spent on poor and uneducated gringos??? Imagine if gringos kept coming to the point that mexicans were to be made a minority in their own country??? Now suppose, when the mexicans stated that they didn’t want to be made a minority in THEIR country, the white gringos told them they were “racist”? This would be insane, right??? Of course, and the reverse which is happening in just as insane. Of course this would never happen as mexicans allow very little legal immigration and illegal immigration in mexico is a felony and not tolerated.

I do wonder if there will be a way out. Even if the Dems were to win, I think all this changes that we have protested about have just become the status quo. Take flying for example, for those who travel a lot, the notion of the security checks doesn’t phase them one bit. To them, it is routine, once that happens there is no need to protest. That is my fear, everything Bush has done will does become routine, people will forget what it was like pre-Bush and that is what makes me sad and fearful.
