XP, I am curious as to why you think corporations would be against nationalized universal health care? In a society where employers provide health insurance and health costs are skyrocketing, it makes sense that corporations would get on board for the government taking a more active role. Of course this means shitty medical service to us consumers, but what do corporations care, they only care about their profit margin – not ideological purity. So why would they be against it?

HP, the answer is yes. Dr. Gutpa was Hillary Clinton's advisor, so what would Austan Goolsbee different. Besides her specialty is in telecom, media and technology industries. This is not even close to health care.

You don't actually believe that 'greedy' 'evil' corporations are against Moore's type of Universal health care, do you? Why would they be against it - they would directly benefit. It's interesting to note that corporations tend to be for it while unions tend to be against it - and trust me, it is not on altruistic grounds. For a more balanced view of the Michael Moore sicko, I suggest you read this article by University Of Chicago economics professor Austan Goolsbee (who is also the economic advisor to Obama). For another view on socialized health care, specifically Canada's, I suggest you watch this short video (deadmeat) on it...a video that is, btw, just as factual as Moore's. It is the consumer, the average citizen, the person who expects to one day need medical attention that should be against Moore's type of health care.

Yeah, there is something about seeing a mega corporation have to apologize for their character assassination of Moore. Truthfully, they will never admit that was their goal, but how are they trying to fool. Gutpa keep saying he wanted to be fair and honest with the public, but how about we start with him. He is a member of the pro-business think tank Council on Foreign Relations. The CFR is the most influential of all private policy planning groups here in the US.

I probably should have done a little more on the much-needed debunking on Dutpa. For one, it is impossible to do a side-by-side comparisons of per capita expenditures in dollar amounts because the economies of the two countries is vastly different. How can we actually measures the cost of health care, when we know that Cuba is being choked economically.

4) I like commercials. They’re almost as slick as the news itself!!

3) The BBC calls people “communist” or “socialist” like it’s some kind of sociopolitical viewpoint, instead of the evil mark of the beast we all know it to be. Who writes the copy at the BBC anyhow? Might it be… SATAN!!!

Yeah, I knew the Medical Industrial Complex would be pissed about Sicko but, damn, do I hate to miss the drama! This is what I get for not owning a TV. Or maybe it is just your writting that makes it sould so exciting? I love it when the powers that be are forced to admit that they lied and they have to twist it all around to make it look like a typo.
