These 6 kids teamed up on 1 kid and beat him unconscious. The boy was bleeding from the ears and convulsing, yet, the 6 youths continued to kick him in the head. That isn't right. There should be punishment for that type of behavior... doesn't matter what your color is. The Jena 6 are being taught the wrong lesson here. Hate should be discouraged by all races, and acting out violently in response to that hate is only lessening the standards that we should be holding ourselves to. Shame on everyone who stook up for these kids. Even the "6" knew they were wrong. Mos Def actually brought up the SF 8 on Maher’s show? Good for him! I made a little effort, when still blogging, to wake people up to the fact that another chapter of CointelPro is happening right now, right here in CA in the 21st C, replete w/ torture by police, and got the impression that there is very little interest in that story – anywhere.
