i like the 1st one (video).

anyway, MX is deregulating their airline industry. american depository receipts are already being traded. i bought telmex when i was 27-28, forget which. anywho, i'm down to 11 bucks a trade right here: http://optionsxpress.com.

we used to call telmex "taco bell." lol i dropped out of college to be a stock broker. i took and passed the nasd broker dealer exam at l.a.city college -lacc.

the s.e.c. was always suspending my account for punching my tickets before my customers' tickets. a minor technicality but those were the rules.

i worked as a broker at east west securities in temple city ca. i guess i was relatively successful until the correction of -87. then it was hard to make sales.

i also bought a little know long distance company -sprint at this time.

telmex claimed that only 22% of the homes in mexico had telephones so i saw the opportunity for growth. sprint was the only competitor of att (long distance).

no one had ever heard of carlos slim at the time.

i mostly day trade the oex sp100. it's always been my favorite.

options xpress has a nice toolbar that plugs into internet explorer.

ss: http://elchicano.net/oex6monthdaily.gif

i just use a mix of technical and fundamental analysis. up or down market makes no difference to me. i make money either way.

the chart shows days that close up in green and days that close down in red.

the blue squiggly line that follows kind of in the center of the days highs and lows is a 20 day weighted moving average. the software does this for me. there are dozens of tools that you can use, just point and click.

the solid blue lines are support / resistance lines. i make these myself.

i used to be a hard core elliott wave theorist but ive chilled on that since it never called the 87 crash, or emm, correction.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elliott_wave_principle

right now it's just been "buy on bad news, sell on good."

plus the dollar and the oil futures are the bigs in the fight right now.

housing and credit have to be factored in as well.

later days, dude,

-daniel

lol it's kinda funny. a lot of people call themselves republicans and comment on the minimum wage (etc) and how it hurts us. they dont want to give a low income family a .70 cent increase in the min. wage because they read the economist.

let's see them make money.
