But the Pasadena, TX shooting needs a bit of clarification on a subject that is often overlooked by the Xicano/Mexican/Mexican-American majority in this country: Black Latinos. I first learned of this story on the O' Reilly Factor and saw mug shots of the two culprits, Colombian nationals Miguel Antonio Dejesus and Diego Ortiz. They were dark-skinned and had physical features that were identical to other people of African descent. Mr. Horn probably had no idea the burglars were Latino, unless they were speaking Spanish as they were running from him. Most likely what happened was, he saw two black guys burglarizing a home, period. You are half right: Joe Horn is probably a racist, but in this case his actions were driven by his animosity against blacks, not Latinos. I liked the post but have to admit

They are trying to get media attention by playing the victim of the prank. Mr. Horn was justified in his actions since the theives also confronted him on his own property. He shot after giving a warning of his intentions and out of fear for his own life. The thugs had police records a mile long and most theives of their calibur do carry weapons.
