This is Steve Earle’s music video for City Of Immigrants. I found this video on CounterPunch and is the Website of the Weekend for January 26 / 27, 2008. Steve Earle is a rock and country music singer, writer, and political activist and is known for his political views. The song is from his latest record, Washington Square Serenade, and it is a tribute to his new home and the people that live in it. Supporting Earle on the song is Forro in the Dark, the super-charged neo-folk Brazilian band that’s based in New York.
