Damn, It’s Good To Be A Man

Thank you Dr Laura Schlessinger, I guess us men, especially Latinos, are not dogs after all, unless we are either “narcissistic” and/or “sociopathic.” According to Dr Laura, women are partly to blame when their husbands cheat. Appearing on NBC’s Today Show to discuss Eliot Spitzer’s sex scandal, she said that is was basically Silda Spitzer’s, wife of Eliot Spitzer, fault for her husband cheating ways.

“When the wife does not focus in on the needs and the feelings, sexually, personally, to make him feel like a man, to make him feel like a success, to make him feel like her hero, he’s very susceptible to the charm of some other woman making him feel what he needs.”

That is not just all. She had more advice to give to women on how to keep a man satisfied.

“The point is, what he’s done is wrong. The point is, what she’s done is wrong,” she said. “I have kept marriages together after affairs because I have reminded women that you have the power to turn this around. He had his children with you. He has his future life plans with you, his dreams, his whole mind, body and soul was wrapped up in the promise of you. If you now turn that back on, all that stuff you turned off because ‘I’m busy’ or ‘I’m irritated’ or ‘I’m annoyed’ or ‘I’m self-centered’ — if you turn that around, you have that man back.”

After receiving criticism for her appearance on the Today Show, she went on Hannity & Colmes to answer her critics.

COLMES: Isn’t it the jerk who treats on his wife — doesn’t the responsibility lie with that adulterer and that man who makes that decision?

SCHLESSINGER: His responsibility for cheating is his. The responsibility for mistreating her man is hers.

COLMES: And just because a man cheats does not mean he was mistreated. He could just be a horny guy who –

SEAN HANNITY (co-host): Oh, jeez!

SCHLESSINGER: As I said –

COLMES: You never heard that word before?

SCHLESSINGER: As I said, if he’s narcissistic, sociopathic, then all bets are off.

COLMES: Right.

SCHLESSINGER: Then he’s a jerk.

COLMES: And aren’t most men who cheat on their wives fall in that category?

SCHLESSINGER: No.

COLMES: They’re narcissistic?

SCHLESSINGER: No, no.

COLMES: Or they’ve got — they’re not respecting their wives?

SCHLESSINGER: No, the wives haven’t been respecting them. And it’s –

COLMES: Really?

SCHLESSINGER: — interesting because in my book — well, two things I want to tell you about call girls. In that book, The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands

When I last heard this type of reasoning, husbands were using it to justify beating their wives. I guess there are still a few relics remaining out there.

Society, human nature, ethics, morals, laws, religion are not in sync with each other.

While I believe a man should and can practice self control, ten million years of evolution says he must bust a nut.

Americans are such prudes. Can you name a prudier female than an “American” female?

Sex is as natural as eating and breathing.

Spitzer’s wife wanted the wallet and the prestiege.

Spitzer shouldve made it clear to his wife. Either either get with the programme of see you around, clown.

She is at least partly responsible. Ultimately, it is the wife that keeps the marriage together.
