Time to Recharge

To my dear readers. I will be taking some time off. I am tired, battered, burnt and frustrated. I am not leaving, I just need time to recharge my batteries, clear my head and refocus. I know my own limits and I have reached them. I know I will end up doing more harm to the communities enjoy working despite the fact that a few individuals felt it was not good enough. So for those who felt I let you down or didn’t follow through on certain things, or felt betrayed or felt I was envious of you, forgive me. It was never my intention to do you wrong. Paz.

    Incidentally, I recently found out where the Sugarhill Gang got their name–Sugarhill is a neighborhood in Harlem around the 140s that a couple friends of mine just moved to. Also, just saw the Wedding Singer again with the rapping granny … is it too soon for 1998 to be retro cool? My feeling is yes, but seeing the movie did take me back to the days when Adam Sandler was the shiznit and making fun of the ’80s was considered novel.
