My ooVoo Day Political: Latino Style
ooVoo is the hot new video chat and conferencing tool that has made it possible to make it a social networking event. They’re hosting several virtual political panels over the next week. You can sign up to be a participant if slots are available. If live streaming is not an option, but you will be can watch the recorded sessions once they’re uploaded.
It started started last night and will go on till August 4th. There are about 25 hosts, all talking different topics. Some will even have guest hosts – like Joe Trippi. Anyone can participate and get involved in the discussion.
With Latinos being a swing vote, Adriana Maestas of Latino Politics Blog, Marisa Trevino of Latina Lista and I will be discussing Latino Leadership and the lack of Latinos/as pursuing political office.
To do so, download the free ooVoo software so you can participate, but you better hurry up and sign up quick, there are only 6 seats available in each session. Go sign up
