Beautiful post, XP. I like the way you make it personal.

When we slept over at Broadview, all of the people that came broke down in tears at some point in the progression of events (listening to wives who had no way to feed their kids now, with their husbands in detention; seeing the vans roll in with those who’d been taken that day; knowing that the only crime had been to work)…

The filmmaker and sound tech who helped create this video did not plan to stay the night with us, but once there, felt absolutely compelled to stay so they could share the story with the world. I’m glad it’s being told, and hope that more and more people will see it and feel what we felt. And then do something about the injustice.
