XP’s DNC Coverage Not Over
You probably don’t want to hear anymore about DNC just about now with all the coverage from the blogs and the traditional media coverage, however, I was so busy covering events that I barely had a chance to actually report on what on what I attended. As an example, I only just finished the rough draft on Monday’s events and I still have about three to six posts that is roaming in my head, never mind the interviews got from the people I got from the DNC Medicinal Marijuana March yesterday, August 28 – which happened to be my birthday – and that will take probably multiple posts as well.
However, I would like to take this time give a big thank you to several people who made my week very exciting. First, I like give a big thank to my host family, Brian and Jennifer Angliss, for letting me stay at your house. The folks at Scholars and Rogues for letting me be part of this ride and the folks at Lime for providing us a place to hang out; for serving great food; and letting me have a tour of your kitchen.
I like to thank several other important people who I had the pleasure of meeting and who helped make this week very memorable, they are Joaquin Guerra and Ali Jost of SEIU; Simon Rosenberg and Melissa Merz of NDN and Joe Garcia.
There is a lot of stories I still like to tell from the DNC and I’ll get them out to you soon, and thanks for reading.

happy belated! didn’t realize our bdays were so close
Thanks Jack. Allowing me to go with you to cover the march (which I still have to write up) was a gift in itself. Besides, I think I had my fair share of that “something” while I was there.
Happy birthday, ‘mano.
