Invading Netroots Nation Again

And the hits keep on comin’. As you know, last year, I had the opportunity to attend and participate in a panel discussion discussing strategies for communicating both with their Latino and non-Latino audiences. This year I have the fortunate opportunity again to attend Netroots Nation in Pittsburgh, PA. Like last year, I will take part in a panel but this time discussing “the dynamics of the social change blogosphere from civil rights/pro-migrant perspective.”

My co-panelists this year are Kety Esquivel of NCLR, David Bennion of Change.org, Dee Perez-Scott from Immigration Talk with a Mexican-American, and the Prerna of DreamActivist.org.

To be honest, I am a bit nervous because I don’t feel I ready for this panel like I was for NCLR. The move from Houston to San Antonio along with a few bumps on the road trying to settle in has really eaten a lot of my time. However, I will get a chance to meet other pro-migrant and progressive bloggers.

If you are also attending Netroots, see over there.

I’m probably the last person that should be telling you this, after all my writing is significantly worse, but as someone who has been trying desperately to improve his writing (damn ESL classes!) I thought I should inform you that your posts have been filled with more and more typos over the last few weeks. This one is probably the worst of them all.

Just a heads up. Normally you write really well – that’s why I am telling you this – but maybe a double read is in order on the quick posts you put together.

OH and, good luck with the event! I’m sure you will do fine!

Thanks for the heads up. Just goes to show blogging after a long day of unpacking and packing produces sloppy work. Things should get back to normal when I get back home.
