Look at what gov has done for the Postal Service, Police/Fire service, DMV, CA Dept of Corrections and everything else it touches.

I don't always trust "our" government either....but I sure as hell trust "our" government over an Insurance Exec who wants a new corporate jet, an extended 20,000 a day vacation in the Bahamas, or to buy into some new derivative scheme on Wall Street...
